My very first Shea Butter recipe, for hair and skin! Using raw Shea butter I bought from a Beauty Supply store I mixed in Jojoba oil, Coconut oil, Sweet Almond oil, and Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) to produce a great product for this harsh winter.
10 oz Raw African Shea Butter
2 1/2 table spoons of Coconut Oil
1 table spoon of JBCO
1 1/2 table spoons of jojoba oil
1 teaspoon of SAO
I first chopped up the Shea butter because it is raw so it’ll be hard, then I mixed it up (in a mixing bowl, or blender) until it was broken up, but not too smooth. Then I added the oils and mixed until smooth. I used an old Trader Joes organic coconut oil jar to store the Shea butter. Keep in mind by not heating the oils or the butter, the full amount of NUTRIENTS will still be in the product. Enjoy! P.S. i added 7-10 droos of rosemary oil for scent, and its great on hair as well!
Special thanks to HeyFranHey, keep the ideas coming they’re great!
